2023 Region 8 Optional Clinic

The Region 8 Clinic is an opportunity for gymnasts who will be competing Level 8 – 10 during the 2023 - 2024  season to work with our region's Master Coaching Staff.  In addition, the Region 8 Clinic will serve as another evaluation of the Region 8 Elite Team Members who will be vying for a spot on the Region 8 Elite Team that will be competing at the Elite Team Championship.

Date: October 7 - 8, 2023

Location:  GymTek Academy

Cost:      Level 8, 9, & 10 Gymnasts –                        $115.00 per gymnast

Non-assisting or not willing to help the master staff (Simply observing) $25.00 per coach

Willing to help or assist the master staff and go to the coaches’ education / update No Charge

 

Tentative Schedule: AGE IS BASED OFF DECEMBER 31, 2024– as per new age group program

GROUP A 

  • Ages 16 – 18 year old

  • Region 8 Elite Team Level 10 members for the 23 - 24 season

  • Level 10 JN & JE 

  • Level 8 (16+) / Level 9 (ages 16+)

GROUP B 

  • Ages 12 – 15 year olds

  • Region 8 Elite Team members Level 8 and 9 for the 23-24 season

  • Level 8 JN & JE (Ages 12-15)

  • Level 9 JN & JE (Ages 14 - 15)

Saturday, Oct. 7th– 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Saturday, Oct. 7th – 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Sunday, Oct. 8th – 8:00 am – 11:30 am

Sunday, Oct. 8th – 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Entry Information

FRIDAY, AUGUST 18th  - Region 8 Elite Team Members Early Registration Deadline 

To secure their spot, you must do the following by Friday, August 18th:

  • Email Benji Stern (ncmensgymnastics@gmail.com) the following information:
    1. That your athlete will OR will not be attending
    2. Will they be attending with their club OR without their club
      1. If the club is attending, payment should be included with the club entry form and payment.
      2. If the club is NOT attending, then an invoice will be sent to the parents directly. 

 Any emails  received after Friday, August 18th  will be subject to availability

  • Friday, September 15th or when cap is reached – Level 8 – 10 gymnasts

  • Friday, September 15th  - No refunds will be given after this date.  Prior to this date, the refund request must have a doctor's note with request.

 *There MUST be at least 1 coach from each club, with gymnasts in each clinic session.

ENTRY PROCEDURE STEPS

  1. Email your clubs entry form using the official Clinic Entry Form to Benji Stern (ncmensgymnastics@gmail.com)
     

  2. Once your entry has been received you will get a confirmation email stating your status of your athletes for the clinic along with payment information. 


All Participants will be sent an online statement of fees for the clinic that must be paid online ONLY within 72 hours of receiving the invoice to secure your spot.
*** Online processing fees of (3.00%+$2.00) per payment will be added to the amount of each invoice.
